Dr. Paul Newton initially became interested in being a chiropractor after receiving chiropractic care and almost immediate relief of pain which was caused by sports related injuries. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Long Beach State in Psychology, Dr. Newton proceeded in 1996 to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He returned to the campus years later to teach physical examination skills and serve as a clinician training young doctors at the Whittier Health Center. Dr. Newton resides in Huntington Beach and has two children. He is a tennis teaching professional throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties and is the head pro at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. Dr. Dave Mull is a 1983 graduate of Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He opened his practice in Bixby Knolls in 1985 and moved to Los Altos in 1995. He completed several years of post-graduate work in orthopedics, and numerous chiropractic adjusting techniques. He served as a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California Industrial Medical Council for a period of 15 years. He is a member of the International Chiropractors Association and the Christian Chiropractors Association. Dr. Mull was raised in Wilmington, "The Heart of the Harbor", and is honored to come from a long line of Longshoremen. Many of his childhood friends are proud members of the ILWU and have continued the tradition of working on the docks, and come in to our office for regular care. He has one son and is a long time resident of Long Beach. Dr. Shereen Manesh
Dr. Manesh graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. She grew up in Maryland and received her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland. Growing up as the only girl in a family of 5 boys, she spent most of her childhood being active in sports. Her love for sports sparked her passion for specializing in treating athletic injuries. Dr. Manesh is certified in Active Release Technique (ART). ART is known as the gold standard in soft tissue treatment and is used by professional and elite athletes worldwide. She has also recently been certified in Webster Technique, a specific technique that helps alleviate pain associated with pregnancy. She is currently completing training to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). Dr. Manesh is committed to excellence through individualized treatments for each patient. She does not simply treat symptoms, she actively seeks out and identifies the underlying cause of pain and addresses this with a multi-factorial approach to health, which includes regular chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue treatments, corrective exercises, nutritional advice and postural modifications. On her free time, Dr. Manesh enjoys working out, traveling and spending quality time with friends and family. Mull Chiropractic StaffWe have three professional licensed massage therapists on staff. Each has extensive training in various massage techniques. When used as an adjunct to chiropractic manipulations, massage therapy can help you hold your adjustments. Our facility coordinator has 36 years experience in medical and chiropractic office management, insurance billing and office efficiency consulting. She established the practice with Dr. Mull 25 years ago. Our front office coordinator is a graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences, Post-Graduate Division and has been with us for 7 years. |
